Format Copier brings the much loved format painter function to Gmail.  

Format Copier is a tool to copy the format of a body of text and paste that format onto another body of text.

Simply head to our Google Chrome extension store page and download the application. instructions are also on our Google Chrome extension store page or this website's homepage. 

Because we have only recently launched and are brand new, we are offering customers our launch special. The launch special is a 14 day free trial and then only $4.5 USD per year until cancelled.

Yes, we offer customers a 14 day free trial. If you are not happy with it, simply cancel and uninstall the extension within 14 days from activation and you will not be charged at all. 

You can cancel the subscription simply but hitting the "cancel subscription" button on the in Google Chrome extension app pop up. 

There are only a few instances of certain formats that are not currently supported (we are working on it), these include bullet points and paragraph indents. Format Copier does not copy and paste the style of bullet points or paragraph indents (this needs to be manually changed which can actually be more appropriate for writing emails).

If you constantly switch between Google accounts sometimes it may not recognise which Google account you intend on using. In this case, please close all Chrome pages down and reopen Chrome in the account you subscribed to Format Copier with. Ensure the subscription email you put down on the checkout page is the same as your email you are logged into Chrome with. 

This can occur if your tool is not the latest version or if the tool was not installed properly. HOW TO FIX:

1 - Close all instances of Chrome and then relaunch Chrome

2 - Check that Format Copier is installed and accept any permissions that the tool asks for

3 - Ensure Format Copier is pinned as an extension at the top of your browser 

4 - Check that your license is active by clicking on the Format Copier icon once it is pinned to the top of your browser

5 - Should steps 1-4 not work, uninstall the plugin and reinstall the plugin from the Chrome Extension Store, the app will automatically pick up your subscription (using the email you are logged into your browser with) once it is relaunched so long as you are logged into your browser using the same email account as when you first installed Format Copier.

All issues should now be resolved. Remember, every subscription only works with the one email account you are logged into the browser with i.e. 1 subscription per email account.
